Attar Roses
Our farm is located in the city of Machachi, 70 km to the south of Quito, Ecuador, at an altitude of 3.200 m. The farm is situated at the slopes of the Illinizas, two volcanic mountains that are a great source of water and other natural resources very valuable for agricultural purposes in this area. Being at the top of the Andes has an important influence in the weather, giving the perfect temperature and humidity conditions.

The Crop
The planting process technologies that we use are innocuous for the ecosystem and that ensure the quality of our roses at their early stage. We follow a very detailed process that uses the latest irrigation system that ensures soil conservation.

The Harvest
Our workers perform the harvesting process provided with the tools necessary to perform their meticulous task. They follow a very specific process selecting the best roses in terms of longitude, head size and thick foliage. This is done in a very thorough and responsible way, avoiding any possible damage to the stems.

The Post Harvest
The post-harvesting process is conducted by a group of high-skilled workers, most of them women. They elaborate every bunch according to the requirements of the client. Each employee works in a station fully equipped with the tools needed in the packing process. Here, our operative workers follow strict parameters of selection in each one of the stems they use. The whole process takes place in our facilities under the highest sanitary conditions and phytosanitary standards.
